Understandably, with record heat I had to wait a couple of days before Eric from Polar Express was able to come. He introduced himself and listened (a lost art) to me about the situation and checked a few things, then went into the very hot attic and found an easy solution for the unit not working. He then serviced the two AC units, cleaned them so they would use less power. All the time, every time I encountered him, he would let me know that cold air is on the way. Since it was an easy fix, I was only charged for a service call, and I was happy to pay such a small amount. Polar installed my system a couple of years before, and they are the only one that I use. Eric is an example of how well trained and knowledgeable they are.

He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Eric quickly did troubleshooting, then handled the problem from changing my air filter to doing an assessment on the compressor, finding the problem, repairing it, and was here working efficiently for 1.75 hours. I would strongly recommend him to anyone who has a problem with the air conditioner unexpectedly; he gave me some great maintenance tips and just what to look for in terms of troubleshooting in the future. Daniel conducted a comprehensive inspection of the AC system. It turned out to be a soft clog in the condensation line, which he took care of. I was impressed by his “attention to detail” when he used the vacuum to suck up gunk from the pipe, and when he was done with that, he proceeded to run the vacuum a little more to make sure he didn’t drip water on our floor. As small as that may seem, it’s a plus on his character and commitment to doing the job right.
